Nov 22 decision on outlawed Penang volunteer squad

 | October 15, 2016
State government wants court to quash Zahid's order declaring PPS an unlawful society, and to prevent Federal Government and police from conducting raids on PPS.
pps_law_600
PETALING JAYA: A court decision is expected on Nov 22 on the fate of Penang’s Voluntary Patrol Unit (PPS), which was outlawed by the Federal Government in 2014.
The date was set by the High Court in Penang yesterday after hearing arguments in an application by the state government for a judicial review of the Home Minister’s declaration that PPS was an unlawful organisation under the Societies Act.
The state government wants an order to quash the minister’s declaration, and seeks a declaration from the court that PPS was established legally under the Local Government Act and did not come under the Societies Act.
The state also sought a restraining order to prevent the government and the police from conducting raids on PPS premises or detaining PPS members.
The home minister, the Inspector-General of Police and the Malaysian Government were named in the suit.
The Federal Government argued that the Home Minister had declared PPS as an unlawful society under the Societies Act and contended that the minister had absolute discretion to do so if a society was prejudicial to public order.
The home minister, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said in an affidavit in response to the suit that the PPS structure fell within the definition of a society.
He also stated that there had been police reports against PPS members about assaults which created an atmosphere of anxiety and fear among the public, and that the police had found PPS members with criminal or drug records.
However, the state government contends that PPS was established under the Local Government Act and complemented the police and other government and law enforcement agencies.
Shamsul Bolhassan, for the government, said it was lawful for Zahid to declare the PPS as an unlawful society. However, Tommy Thomas, for the state government, said Zahid had not explained why PPS was prejudicial to public order.
The state also seeks damages, costs and any other relief.

Lack of funds leads to suspension of clinical laboratory tests in Malaysian hospitals

Health DG Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has assured that laboratories will continue to perform crucial diagnostic investigations.
A circular recently issued by the Pathology department of Tengku Ampuan Rahmah Hospital in Klang has swiftly appeared in doctors’ chat groups and forums, and stirred up an intense discussion amongst Malaysian healthcare professionals.

The letter, which was dated 6 September and written in Bahasa Malaysia, notified hospital staff of a temporary halt in pathology laboratory investigations, as the department was unable to purchase necessary chemical reagents due to inadequate funds.

“Temporary” suspension appears to affect other hospitals, too

The notice came with an attachment, which itemised the various tests provided by the Microbiology Unit, the Chemical Pathology Unit as well as the Haematology Unit, and listed the respective dates that they will come to a temporary suspension.

However, the Tengku Ampuan Rahmah Hospital does not seem to be the only health facility affected by the lack of funds.

A doctor who is currently serving in a district hospital has turned to the forums to share on the situation at his workplace. According to the healthcare practitioner, staff from the hospital where he is working have received circulars from the laboratory of a tertiary hospital located an hour away, informing the suspension of investigations from district hospitals due to lack of reagents or budget.

“Even if I did send it off, no results would be returned to me,” the doctor wrote.

Health DG: “Biggest challenges” to provide good healthcare services with limited resources

The director general of Health, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, has responded to this matter on social media by acknowledging the challenges faced by the Ministry of Health (MOH) in providing quality healthcare services with restricted resources, especially with increase in demand.

“As the MOH strives to provide excellent health services at reasonable costs with high satisfaction to the Rakyat, surely the demand for the health services at the MOH will also increase,” he posted via social media.

According to Noor Hisham, the Health Ministry has seen an increment in the numbers of patients seeking healthcare services in public health facilities, with an estimated 8% increase in patients from January to May this year, compared to the same period in the past year. This translates to over three million additional patients who are visiting the public health clinics.

“This greater demand for our services has led to more complex challenges in managing our existing resources,” Noor Hisham stated. “Therefore, to ensure that crucial health services provision are not disrupted, the MOH is evaluating the extent of our financial shortcomings, and optimising and reallocating our limited resources to wherever it is needed the most. This is to ensure our laboratories will continue to perform crucial diagnostic investigations.”

He concluded his post by reassuring readers that the MOH remains committed in providing health services to citizens.

“Let us translate these challenges into opportunities for us to improve the way we do things; for it to be better, more efficient and effective, avoid unnecessary duplications and cut wastages towards achieving better outcomes,” he said.

Not just labs: Limited funds affecting supply of medications

The Health Ministry has also responded to the unease that has stirred amongst citizens following speculations of a shortage in medicines in government hospitals, with patients claiming that their supplies have been limited to prescriptions suffice for up to two weeks or a month compared to the previous two-to-six months’ prescriptions.

“The pharmacist gradually gave me only two weeks' worth of medicine. When I asked why, the pharmacist admitted they're currently facing a shortage and a month's prescription would only be issued if there's a letter by the doctor," said Michael, a restaurant manager, who used to receive a month’s worth of medication after every medical appointment since his recovery from tuberculosis earlier in the year.

According to 57-year-old homemaker, Kiran, the monthly prescriptions has caused some difficulties as she now has to make monthly trips to the hospital for her diabetic medications, with each trip taking approximately an hour depending on road traffic conditions.

In response to the situation, Noor Hisham has reassured that "There is no shortage of medicines or supplements at public hospitals and clinics. What we have done is to supply medicines for a month. This is to reduce wastage.” He added that it was the ministry’s policy to ensure sufficient supply of medicines and necessary supplements at all government health facilities.

Pharmacists share frustrations at medicine shortages

However, medical personnel have stepped forward to share on the current circumstances.

A government-based pharmacist from Malacca has said that shortages of medicine used in the treatment of blood pressure and diabetes have forced pharmacies to cut down prescriptions from the usual two months’ supply to one.

"Hospitals and clinics here have resorted to borrowing and lending medicine supply to sustain ourselves. After recalculating their remaining stock, most are wondering if the medicines could last till year-end," she said.

Meanwhile, a pharmacist from Johor expressed frustration on having to see diabetes patients face a shorter supply of insulin. "The pharmacy is currently issuing only two weeks’ prescription for it. While the situation is manageable at the moment, it can't be prolonged because diabetes is a critical illness. This shortage will add further complications for patients," he stressed.

Although Noor Hisham admitted that there has been some disruption in the supply of insulin due to problems faced by manufacturers overseas, he reassured that the ministry was keeping a close watch on the matter and urged all health facilities to take proactive measures to secure alternative supplies of insulin. MIMS

Dear friends, Malaysians who yearn for change,
Over the years, the most commonly asked question is: what hope do we have when we cannot penetrate the rural and semi-urban seats where Malay votes are dominant?
I spent the last 7 years at the forefront of opposition politics. I crafted#bukujingga in order to boost public's confidence in our policy credentials. Together with Tony Pua Wong Chen Ong Kian Ming Liew Chin Tong Dr Dzulkifly Ahmad and many others, year after year we presented an alternative budget. We spent a good two years refining the last election's manifesto aptly named "Pakatan Harapan Rakyat".
Yet we still miss the mark. In some states Malay support for opposition was as low as 15% (Johor in GE13). Nationally Pakatan Rakyat suffered a drop in Malay support thus preventing us from winning key marginal constituencies in Johor, Perak, Pahang, Kedah and Kelantan.
I have very limited time left. In all likelihood, I am not going to be around when GE14 is called. The OSA charge's verdict will be delivered on 14 November 2016, about 3 weeks from now. (For the record, I was charged with disclosing Auditor General's Report linking 1MDB to Army's Pension Fund).
Under the OSA, the charge carries a minimum compulsory jail sentence of 1 year and a maximum of 7 years.
I expect the worst and the appeal process to be quick as well, judging how quick they have concluded my trial.
In all likelihood, I may not be around (outside) by February 2017.
Given all these converging circumstances, I am in a unique position. With a near certainty of going to prison, I can free myself from the party and partisan's bureaucracy to do the one thing that many other cannot do before or now. Given that I have nothing to lose now that I had nearly lost everything anyway, I can throw whatever I have to make this one thing works.
What is this one thing that is so crucial to answer the most commonly asked question of getting Malay votes?
The campaign for change has to be brought to the doorsteps of the Malay masses in kampung and towns. It has to go beyond the partisan line and blind to party loyalty so as to rope in as many people as possible irrespective of their party allegiance.
We have seen a glimpse of people's power when common people are mobilised beyond partisan's line, as hundreds of thousands of people joined BERSIH rallies in the past. But what matters more is mobilising as many as 50,000 people actively on the ground every month from now on until GE14 to work on marginal seats.
This can only happen by way of mobilising a large army of volunteers from all walks of life. They knock doors every weekend irrespective of what the political climate is. These volunteers collect feedback from voters from their doorsteps encounters which then is fed back into an analytical system running on a server to find commonalities. These commonalities help us understand what motivate them to vote for change, so that we can tailor our messages to suit their emotive perspective.
This cannot be done by a political party because by nature, a political party excludes rather than includes.
For this purpose, I have set up a full time, professional campaign team that will run the non-partisan campaign for change around the clock backed by the best technology and digital marketing available.
You can find more information about them at www.invokemalaysia.org
I have put in RM500,000 of my own life saving in order to get it off the ground. In return, I have managed to persuade a group of highly talented, multiracial, multi-background and highly educated young Malaysians to take a one year break from their career to focus on doing this.
We have completed Phase I of the #ProjekBuangNajib i.e. establishing the system, liaison with political parties (leaders from PKR, DAP, AMANAH and BERSATU have all been briefed and attended Partnership4Change program), filling up key leadership positions.
We are now into Phase II of #ProjekBuangNajib - scaling up the operation to land full time Field Coordinators at marginal constituencies. Our Field Coordinators will recruit volunteers locally and manage out-of-town volunteers to match them with the most effective use of their time. He/She will lead door to door canvassing on weekly basis.
For this to happen, we need funds to pay for Field Coordinators. The initial estimate is we need 30 Field Coordinators (for 30 marginal constituencies) at RM2,500 per month. That means RM75,000 a month. If GE14 is to be held in March 2017, we need to employ Field Coordinators for at least 6 months i.e. payroll cost of RM450,000.
Hence this appeal to all Malaysians who yearn for change.
Please come to INVOKE's Fundraising Dinner on 11 November 2016 with the dramatic theme of "Hope In The Midst of Gloom: Rafizi Ramli and Army of Volunteers".

Ever since I was unexpectedly thrown into the national political coliseum due to the #NFC scandal 5 years ago, I had many moments when I questioned the wisdom of risking everything in the name of change. I discovered eventually that inconsistency between words and actions is the only thing consistent about politicians, whichever political divide you are with.
The only reason I never waiver and never give up was because I feel the large majority of people always give a nod of approval to my "not-so-traditional" approach to politics.
Hence towards the end of this cycle of my adventure before (in all likelihood) I am given a His Majesty's paid vacation, I ask for your support once again, the way you had always given me the benefit of the doubt (though more often than not I sound very different from my colleagues).

GEORGE TOWN, Oct 26 — Hundreds of Umno Youth members, clad in black shirts emblazoned with the Malay words “Pemuda Bangkit” or “Youths Rise”, marched to Komtar today demanding the resignation of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.
The youths grouped at Menara Umno about 800m away at 1pm before their 2pm march to the landmark tower building that houses the Penang government offices.
Leading the demonstrators dubbed “Himpunan Pemuda Bangkit Pulau Pinang 2016, Ride Against Corruption” were Umno Youth deputy chief Khairul Azwan Harun and Penang Umno Youth chief Rafizal Abdul Rahim.
While the state executive committee chaired by Lim huddled around the meeting table, the demonstrators kicked up a din and held up banners stating in Bahasa Malaysia: “step down Guan Eng”, “Guan Eng corrupt” and “destroy Bersih”.

Khairul and Rafizal later stood on the back of a four-wheel drive and shouted for Lim to resign and to call on the police to put a stop to the Bersih 5 rally scheduled to be held on November 19.
“We will continue to hold peaceful protests against Guan Eng until he steps down and against Bersih until they cancel it,” Khairul said.
He later handed a memorandum addressed to Lim detailing their reasons for their demands.
They demanded that Lim resign due to the current corruption case pending against him and that the state government withdraw its support to Bersih 5.

“We want the state government to stop reclamation works as it is affecting the ecosystem and the livelihood of fishermen,” Rafizal said.
The group dispersed after about 30 minutes.
This is the second demonstration by Penang Umno Youth after the first one on October 1.

UMNO is using the same 7 methods the Elites used to control its people

$

All societies are run by an elite. In the past, this elite was the hereditary aristocracy. Today, the elite are extremely wealthy globalists. Here are some of the techniques they use to stay on top.
The first three items in this list are items that we have little influence over. They are determined by the government, which in turn is wholly owned by the elite. In theory, we can change these through our votes. In reality, we have almost no influence on these policies.
The last four are also wholly owned by the elite, but our use of them is within our control. If we are being controlled through them, we have no one but ourselves to blame.

1. Violence

warrior-cops
One of the obvious ways that the elite control the populace is through the threat of violence. If someone from outside the ruling class tries to gain entry, he will quickly find himself either killed or imprisoned. Virtually every ruling class has used this method.
The US makes abundant use of violence to enforce the established order. Frequently the force used is excessive. For example, in 2013 a dental hygienist named Miriam Carey drove to a White House security checkpoint. When an officer told her to stop, she instead tried to make a U-turn back to the road. Officers tried to block her and she took off leading to a car chase that ended when officers shot and killed the young mother even though she posed no real threat.
The state monopoly on violence is the most acceptable form of control. When used well, it preserves order without negatively affecting most of the people. It only becomes a problem when it becomes excessive.

2. Welfare

Bread and Circuses
Governments have been using welfare to placate the unwashed masses for thousands of years. During that last days of the Roman Republic, politicians provided bread to poor voters in order to buy their votes.
Unfortunately, the vote buying scheme did not last forever. Once the people figured out that they could vote for “free stuff” for themselves, the Republic became unmanageable. After a lot of political upheaval, this eventually required that a strong dictator in the form of Julius Caesar rise to power.
In our own day, governments provide free food, housing, and even cell phones to the poor to buy their votes and keep them from causing trouble. Don’t think for a minute that when you hear Hillary Clinton propose another handout that she actually has a shred of concern for her fellow citizens. It is still a method of control and vote buying.

3. Taxes

96175-004-A4E3929F
Taxes used to really anger Americans
The elite use tax policy to prevent others from becoming wealthy and thus entering the ranks of the elite themselves. In the US, the wealthiest 1% pays very little in taxes because the majority of their income derives from capital gains, which are taxed at a much lower rate than ordinary income.
Ironically, Democrats who want to tax high wage earners in the name of “sticking it to the rich” are in reality perpetuating the entrenched elite of the super rich. To foster greater economic mobility, the tax system should be made less progressive with the goal being to lower taxes on ordinary income.

4. Sportsball

 image

Karl Marx famously said that religion is the opiate of the masses. Perhaps that was true in Marx’s day but it is definitely not true now. Today, religion plays a minor role in the lives of most people. Rather, the more powerful opiate in the lives of modern men is watching sports.

There are whole segments of the male (and increasingly the female) populace who spend Saturdays and Sundays glued to the TV watching their favorite college and professional sports teams. And it is not just mere entertainment. People take their sports so seriously that they may get depressed if their team loses an important game.

Sports are a multibillion dollar industry in the US and it is all put on by the elites who are wealthy enough to own sports teams. Even college sports are sponsored by the wealthy trustees of universities.

The way to avoid being trapped by the spectator sports distraction is to put it in its proper perspective. While there is nothing wrong with watching a game on the weekend, there is no reason to buy lots of paraphernalia or to waste time memorizing statistics. Why get emotionally involved over the battle of two corporations? Also, it is better to participate in sports directly rather than watching somebody else do it. That is also good advice for the next distraction which is…

5. Porn

b69
Starting in the 1950s, pornographers waged a three-decade long battle to overturn or weaken US obscenity laws. They were successful. With the advent of the internet, porn became ubiquitous. While libertarians may celebrate this as the triumph of personal freedom, the reality is that it has become one of the most powerful forms of control of the masses.
I don’t have to tell any man how potent the sex drive is. We find the visual stimulation of porn extremely addicting. Some studies show that at least half of all men are addicted. I think the percentage is much higher.
Using porn is a huge time waster. Rather than accomplishing something useful, some men spend an hour or two a day trying to find exciting images. That’s time that would be better put to use lifting weights, learning a martial art, meeting girls, fathering a family, or starting a company.
But porn is more than a time suck. It also takes away a man’s edge. It tricks his mind into believing that he has become the emperor of China with 300 vaginas ready to meet his every need. In other words, using porn makes a man complacent. You can see this in the herbivore men of Japan who consider it easier to sit at home and wank instead of finding a wife or achieving great things.
Whether it was intentional or not, porn has turned into one of the most effective forms of control of the masses. If we are all busy spanking our brains out, we are not going to notice the fact that our government has turned into a plutocracy. We are not going to care that we are being treated like cattle to make our masters even richer.

6. Entertainment

tfa_poster_wide_header_adb92fa0
The most popular post on my blog is the very first one I wrote. The topic is what I learned from watching the television show Naked and Afraid. While I think the post has a beneficial message, my weightier posts get much less traffic. The primary reason for the popularity of my post is because it concerns a TV show. Posts on ROK that comment on movies are similarly very popular.
Like sports, there is nothing wrong with enjoying television, film, or video games when it is done in moderation. But popular entertainment is almost always laced with messagesthat try to advance the progressive agenda. And like porn or sports, getting too involved with entertainment can blind us to what is happening in the real world.
How do you know if you are addicted to entertainment? Here is a simple test. If you are a grown man, and you felt a strong compulsion to go see the latest Star Wars movie, you are addicted to entertainment. The next time a blockbuster rolls around, wait until it comes out on video.

7. Social Media

i-dont-think-uc97eq
When it is not being censored by the elites, social media can be an extremely powerful tool that we can exploit to bring back the patriarchy. Unfortunately, 99% of people don’t use it as a tool for good. They use it to status whore. Women are the guiltiest users but men do it as well posting pictures of their scotch or barbecue techniques.
The best fix for social media is to use it with awareness. If you find yourself slipping into status whoring or getting involved with pointless arguments, drop it and do something useful instead.

Conclusion

Aristotle teaches that true freedom is not the license to do whatever we please. True freedom is the ability to act in accordance with reason. If we are unable to do what is good, we are slaves no matter how much empowering language we use to dress up the fact of our servitude.
Liberating ourselves from elite control may not topple them in the short term, but it will make our individual lives better. That alone makes it worth the effort.

$170 Million Straight From Civil Service Pension Fund Into Najib's Personal Account!
Speaking to an audience in Geneva yesterday DAP Finance Spokesperson, Tony Pua detailed the simple steps by which US$170 million was transferred out of the Civil Servant Pension Fund, KWAP into Najib’s personal AmBank spending account in 2011.
The transfer, long suspected by observers, represents one of the final missing jigsaw pieces in the tale of theft at 1MDB and raises further questions about the transactions of yet another Swiss Bank Julius Baer and also the role of Standard Chartered Bank, which held the bogus Blackstone Asia account in Singapore.
A total of RM4 billion was raised by SRC (set up as a subsidiary to 1MDB in 2011) with the first draw-down of RM2 billion of that money taking place in August of that year. It was then transferred abroad, supposedly for ‘international investments’, thereby making it harder for Malaysian investigators to trace.
However, in three short steps the following November, the money was simply transferred back into Malaysia and into Najib’s own personal bank account!
The intermediary was SRC International’s account at the Swiss bank Julius Baer’s Hong Kong branch in a transfer partially uncovered by Sarawak Report in March of this year.
$170 million was transferred from the Malaysian fund to its account at Julius Baer under the guise of funding foreign investments, Pua stated. The sum was then passed on to the bogus BVI company Blackstone Asia Real Estate Partners (identified by the US Dept of Justice as being controlled by Jho Low through his associate Eric Tan) and then on during the same month of November into Najib’s KL account.
Amounting to around half a billion ringgit in Malaysian currency, this represents a large chunk of  the SRC missing money long suspected to have been almost entirely pilfered by the Prime Minister and his associates. Earlier this month the Swiss authorities confirmed that they had evidence that $800 million (the vast majority of the KWAP loan) was indeed misappropriated according to their international banking investigations, but failed to release the details.
MACC (Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission) investigations have already established that over RM60 million was transferred directly from SRC locally to other accounts held by Najib at AmBank. That money was passed by Nik Faisal Arif Kamil (another associate of Jho Low) who was appointed Chief Executive of SRC and had also been given authorised status to manage these accounts for the Prime Minister.

‘Prince Saud Abdulaziz Al-Saud ‘

Najib has long sought to explain the massive payments into his account by referring to what he said were donations from a bogus Saudi ‘Prince Saud Abdulaziz Al-Saud ‘. When it was clearly proven by MACC investigators that at least RM67 million had been merely directed locally straight from SRC to his accounts set up by Nik Kamil, he issued the excuse that he had not realised this to be the case.
Najib informed the new Attorney General he had just appointed (since the old one was about to prosecute him) that he had understood the money came from the alleged Saudi donation. This excuse was accepted by his new AG, Apandi Ali, who did not request him to repay the money to the pension fund.
Meanwhile, a new document obtained by Sarawak Report sheds fascinating light on the reality behind the so-called Prince Saud Abdulaziz Al-Saud, whose purported letters of explanation were sent to AmBank each time one of these enormous payments were made into Najib’s account.
No one has been able to identify this particular Saudi Royal, even though the payments are so large that he would have to have been one of the richest members of the Saudi ruling family to afford them. Indeed the letter sent to AmBank in November 2011 gives two different versions of this character’s name and one of the bank accounts later used to make another payment, allegedly by him, uses another name entirely, Prince Faisal bin Turkey bin Bandar Alsaud
The November 2011 letter from 'Prince Abdulaziz' claimed it was to support Najib's Global Movement of Moderation
The November 2011 letter from ‘Prince Abdulaziz’ claimed it was to support Najib’s Global Movement of Moderation
The letter referred to Najib’s alleged good works through his pet project for impressing the Americans, entitled the Global Movement of the Moderates, which this Saudi Wahabi Prince was allegedly supporting.

The document bears a striking resemblance to the letter head of another close associate of Jho Low, the beneficial shareholder of PetroSaudi, Prince Turki bin Abdullah. Prince Turki was paid millions of dollars in back-handers by Low for allowing his shell company PetroSaudi to be used as a front for the 1MDB joint venture, which siphoned $1.83 billion of borrowed money out of Malaysia.
The Department of Justice has also confirmed that Prince Turki passed $20 million from money removed from that joint venture deal straight to Najib’s own bank accounts.
Sarawak Report has a copy of Turki’s own letterhead used for business ventures later spearheaded by PetroSaudi in Venezuela and it bears a remarkable resemblance to the apparently bogus figure behind the payments into Najib’s AmBank account.
Prince Turki's letterhead

Did Jho Low and his team use his pal’s letter head to simply forge a similar ‘royal looking’ document? The fugitive billionaire has yet to answer any questions on his role at 1MDB and Malaysia has closed down all investigations on the AG’s decision that ‘there has been no wrongdoing’
Seal and signature

However, Najib’s press man Paul Stadlen has been informing international journalists that reports that Prince Abdulaziz was indeed Prince Turki should be taken as being well-founded.
The only problem being that Prince Turki is just one of scores of Saudi Princes, whose personal means are limited when it comes to donating on a scale of hundreds of millions of dollars. Indeed, to the contrary it is Prince Turki who got the backhanders from Malaysia, which is probably why he is considered the perfect person to keep his mouth shut.

AG: We will reply to Swiss OAG’s request on 1MDB

 | October 28, 2016
Apandi Ali confirms he received the request for Mutual Legal Assistance from Switzerland's Office of Attorney-General in regard to an ongoing probe on 1MDB.

The Attorney-General’s Chambers is in the process of replying to a Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) request by Switzerland’s Office of Attorney-General (OAG) in regard to ongoing investigations on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
According to a report in Malaysiakini, Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali confirmed having received the second MLA from the Swiss OAG, after having claimed the AGC had not received the first application.
“We have received it (MLA) and it is in the process for us to reply,” he told reporters after being appointed adjunct professor at Universiti Utara Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur today.
The MLA is an agreement between two or more countries for the purpose of gathering and exchanging information in an effort to enforce public laws or criminal laws.
According to earlier news reports, the second MLA request from the Swiss OAG to Malaysia was sent on Oct 5 to assist in investigations on alleged breaches of rules in the Swiss financial sector concerning SRC International Sdn Bhd, a former 1MDB subsidiary.
Other countries also conducting investigations of their own in relation to 1MDB are the UK, Singapore, US, Hong Kong and Luxembourg.
Apandi was also asked to comment on former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s allegation that he wrongfully protected Prime Minister Najib Razak.
“I don’t know, I cannot comment on what he said as I did not hear it,” Apandi replied.
When informed that Mahathir made the accusation in a blog posting, Apandi said he had not read it himself and therefore would refrain from making any comment.
“So the best thing is no comment lah,” the news portal quoted him as saying.

DPM: Malaysia a model of unity, equal rights for all

Malaysia is a model of unity as it assures fair and equal rights for all races as stipulated in the Federal Constitution, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.
As such, he said the ethnic minorities in the country need not be scared to practice their religions and traditional cultures, let alone to be worried of losing their identities.
"I believe that our different religions, languages and skin colours have made us a nation having a rich culture.
"The differences have become the strength, not a weakness, in the formation of Malaysian nation, unity in diversity," he said in his two-minute video message posted on his Facebook and Twitter pages on Friday in conjunction with Deepavali.
Ahmad Zahid also called on all Malaysians to strengthen racial unity and solidarity, which were the backbone in nation development.
He reminded the people not to turn the social media into a medium that could shake national unity.

"Last but not least, I would like to wish all Malaysians, especially the Hindu devotees, Happy Deepavali 2016," he added. – Bernama

Malays go to school because the government says so.
Malays get to pass their exam with 7 to 11As because the government lower their passing grade to 12/100.
Malays in University today do not understand nor able to write anything beyond five words in English.
Malays get employment because the government has make it compulsory for non-Malays not to be given jobs.
Malays need not master a skill because the government does not want anything to be done properly because otherwise how can the elites in the government get their 100% commission.  One good example is the recent fire in a Johor Bahru Hospital.
Malays get privileges because the government hope to get their votes in return.
Malays do not need a roof over their head nor food on the table or need work because the government can provide BRIM and their belief is that Allah wants them to remain docile and poor.  Food for their family must come from supporting and be loyal to people like Jamal otherwise they loses their allowances of RM100 and free lunches daily from Rosmah.

Stephen Hawking: Humankind is still greedy, stupid and greatest threat to Earth

Physicist Stephen Hawking says pollution coupled with human greed and stupidity are still the biggest threats to humankind.
During an interview on Larry King Now, the science superstar told King that in the six years since he’s spoken with the talk show host people haven't cleaned up their act.
“We certainly have not become less greedy or less stupid,” Hawking said. “The population has grown by half a billion since our last meeting, with no end in sight. At this rate, it will be eleven billion by 2100."
He noted that the massive problem of pollution has only grown in the last five years.
“Air pollution has increased over the past five years,” he said. “More than 80% of inhabitants of urban areas are exposed to unsafe levels of air pollution.”
When asked what the biggest problem facing the world is, Hawking said climate change.
Hawking told King he wonders if we are past the point of no return.  "Will we be too late to avoid dangerous levels of global warming?"
There are some things even Hawking doesn't know.

Prosecutors to call on 9 witnesses as trial of ex-BSI banker Yeo Jiawei kicks off in Singapore, first in international 1MDB probe

n this picture taken on July 8, 2015 Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak (L) gestures as he arrives along with Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin (R) to take part in an event for new government interns at the Prime Minister's office in Putrajaya.
SINGAPORE - The prosecution will call on nine witnesses in its case against former BSI banker Yeo Jiawei - the first person to be tried for the key role he allegedly played in a massive money-laundering operation linked to scandal-hit 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) fund.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Tan Kiat Pheng said in his opening statement on Monday (Oct 31) to a packed court room, called the trial the "most complex, sophisticated and largest money laundering case handled by the CAD (Commercial Affairs Division)", involving the movement of "staggering amounts of moneys across jurisdictions over the course of several years."
Yeo, 33, is accused of facilitating illicit transactions involving 1MDB that led to the shutdown of Swiss private bank BSI's operations here. He faces a total of 11 charges ranging from money laundering and cheating to forgery and obstruction of justice.
The prosecution said on Monday it will be proceeding on four charges relating to Yeo's attempts to pervert the course of justice. It will apply for the remaining seven charges, which concern cheating, money laundering and forgery, to be stood down.
District Judge Ng Peng Hong is presiding over the trial, which is set to run through Nov 11, with a break on Nov 4. Mr Philip Fong of the law firm of Harry Elias is representing Yeo.
According to the prosecution's opening statement, Yeo, who was employed as BSI's wealth planner between December 2009 and July 2014, amassed wealth of about S$26 million from various sources, including illicit schemes to defraud BSI while he was a BSI employee and others whom he dealt with after he left BSI.
During and after his employment at BSI, Yeo played a central role in facilitating or concealing the laundering of large sums of money, according to DPP Tan.
Both Yeo and Kevin Swampillai, BSI's head of wealth management services and Yeo's supervisor, were involved in transactions in which certain fees would be shared between BSI, a fund manager and Samuel Goh Sze-Wei, who was an associate of Yeo's.
Unknown to BSI, Yeo arranged for Bridgerock Investment and GTB Investment, which were beneficially owned by Yeo and Swampillai respectively, to receive a significant portion of the fees for their own benefit.
Bridgeock and GTB were the subject of investigations by CAD in March this year.
Yeo was first interviewed by CAD on Oct 6, 2015, and arrested as a suspect on March 17, 2016.
A day later, on March 18, Yeo was released on police bail. Under the terms of the release, Yeo was obliged to comply with conditions, including to not commit any offence while released on bail; and to not interfere with any witness.
According to DPP Tan, unknown to CAD in the days following his release, Yeo proceeded to take active steps to pervert the course of justice.
"In a display of complete and wanton disregard for the law and CAD's investigations, he met and contacted key witnesses in the hope of suppressing incriminatory evidence pertaining to his own illicit schemes and activities," DPP Tan said.
On March 27, 2016, after his release on police bail, Yeo arranged for Swampillai, Goh and himself to have a meeting at at the Pergola Café in the Swiss Club at 36 Swiss Club Road.
The prosecution will lead evidence that, at the café, Yeo, Goh and Swampillai discussed the CAD investigations, including that of Bridgerock and GTB, DPP Tan said. In the course of the meeting, Yeo told them to lie to the CAD that the funds transferred by Goh to Bridgerock and GTB were Goh's investments.
After he left BSI, Yeo continued to be involved in illicit transactions and other transactions connected in the money laundering case. Some of these transactions were conducted through the Amicorp Group, which provides legal and corporate secretarial support services.
In March, Yeo was interviewed by CAD on transactions involving Amicorp. As Jose Renato Carvalho Pinto and Mun Enci Aloysius were Amicorp employees who received instructions from Yeo in relation to these transactions, Yeo was worried that CAD would interview them.
The prosecution will lead evidence that, sometime in March 2016, Yeo contacted Mr Carvalho using the "Telegram" text message application, DPP Tan. In his messages, Yeo told Mr Carvalho to dispose of his Amicorp laptop, which would likely contain evidence of Yeo's dealings with Amicorp. Yeo also told Mr Carvalho not to travel to Singapore, to avoid being interviewed by CAD.
The prosecution will lead evidence that in March this year, Yeo also used the "Telegram" text message application to instruct Mr Carvalho to tell Mr Aloysius to inform CAD that he did not know of Yeo's dealings with Amicorp if he was to be questioned by CAD.
Besides Yeo, two other former BSI employees are also facing charges. On Oct 10, Yak Yew Chee and Yvonne Seah, were charged with carrying out suspicious money transfers for their client and controversial Malaysian tycoon Low Taek Jho, better known as Jho Low.
Mr Kelvin Ang, said to be a broker with Maybank Kim Eng, has also been charged. He is alleged to have paid a research analyst to produce a favourable valuation report on certain 1MDB assets. Ang's pre-trial conference will be held on Nov 17.

Alibaba founder may be made digital economy adviser

 | November 1, 2016
Treasury secretary-general says billionaire Jack Ma may be invited to sit on Malaysia’s digital councils.
irwan
BEIJING: Malaysia may offer Jack Ma an advisory role to help the country develop its digital economy, said Treasury Secretary-General Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah.
According to the New Straits Times, Mohd Irwan Serigar said the Alibaba Group’s billionaire founder could be appointed to national digital councils.
“We will discuss with him about bringing his ideas, and there’s also talk about appointing him to the digital councils in Malaysia,” Mohd Irwan was quoted as saying.
Saying the digital economy would become the new “in thing”, he added that China-Malaysia cooperation would benefit Malaysia’s economy and development.
Mohd Irwan is in Beijing as part of Prime Minister Najib Razak’s official visit, which started on Monday.
Last year, Indonesia appointed Jack Ma as an adviser to the government on e-commerce.
Even before his appointment by the Indonesian government, Ma had established a foothold in Indonesia, where 100 million people are hooked up to the Internet.
Alibaba Group is a giant Chinese e-commerce company which owns the Taobao online marketplace among other businesses, including Lazada.

Malaysia need China to bail out 1MDB.  China will make sure the returns are 1000 fold.  China has a different work culture when it comes to business. Unlike Malaysia, China can have 10 Chinese workers to do 1000 Malay workers job. China has no need one worker to file paper, one to sit down to do knitting, one to gossip, one to hassle another, one to do the coffee etc...........Malaysia has a culture of big work force doing one man's work.
Second is Hudud, Hijab and Fasting.  Do you think China will allow that??????????????????
Okay you will say China has to follow the rules when in Malaysia.  China will answer 'WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO TELL ME WHEN IT COMES TO MY MONEY AND COMPANY, YOU MELAYU CAN GO FLY KITE."
Malaysia is number one in corruption.
Malaysia Prime Minister is also named MOST CORRUPTED PRIME MINISTER IN THE WORLD.
Because of Malaysian PM's corruption Malaysia make history in Singapore, Australia, Switzerland, USA, France, England and soon in Hong Kong.  You see my PM and his family are self made money laundering terrorists.  One up against Yakuza because my PM and his wife love to murder their enemies using the army and police boys to do the killing. Then they will find scapegoats to take the blame using Judges that are easily influence with money and titles. Today more than half the Judges in Malaysia are millionaire.  So where do the money come from?

The Malay party UMNO has their own mafia groups.  The main one being Red Shirt which China do not look kindly to.  So what will happen after the GE next year will be very, very interesting.  Me think people like Jamal will be taught similar lesson like Ibrahim Ali.  Do you know that Ibrahim Ali went POW for two days in China.  After that incident Ibrahim Ali has changed.  For better or worse you decide.  So Jamal will definitely go POW in similar fashion.
Remember how Robert Kuok the Sugar King of Malaysia was treated by Najib's greed.
SO, NEED I SAY MORE WHY JACK MA WILL NEVER TARNISH HIS OWN NAME AND COUNTRY.

BULLIED & OPPRESSED, M’SIAN CHINESE HAVE THE LAST LAUGH AT UMNO: IN THE END, MALAYSIA BECOMES ‘MA-LAH-SIA’, A SMALL PROVINCE OF THE GREAT MOTHERLAND

The Malays, who dislike their fellow Malaysians of Chinese extraction, calling them “pendatang” and “illegals”, denying them equality as citizens, had better look away now.
We were colonised by the Portuguese, then the Dutch and the British. The Ketuanan Melayus must be bristling with pain. Malaysia will soon be ‘Ma-lah-sia Province’, part of the Greater ‘People’s Republic of China’. The writer Howard French called Africa, China’s “second continent”.
Nobody rewrites Malayan/Malaysian history faster than our Umno Baru historians. The pain of seeing Najib Abdul Razak hold a begging bowl in Beijing must confuse the Ketuanan types. Malaysian history will have to be rehashed, yet again.
School children learnt that Parameswara, the renegade Hindu prince from Palembang, was the founder of the Malacca Sultanate. He established Malacca as the most important trading post in the region, frequented by traders from Arabia, India, the Indonesian islands and China, one of the superpowers at the time. The Chinese Admiral, Zheng He (Cheng Ho), was dispatched to Malacca to meet Parameswara.
In 1411, Parameswara visited China to pay homage to the Ming Emperor Yongle (Yung-Lo), explore trading opportunities and establish diplomatic relations; but more importantly, he wanted refuge, to protect Malacca from the two neighbouring empires of Ayudhya (Siam) and Majapahit (Java), which constantly attacked Malacca.
Is Najib a modern-day Malaysian version of Parameswara?
Najib’s closeness to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) is no coincidence. He is punishing western leaders for humiliating him. Najib does not care that 1MDB closed down BSI, the 143-year-old Swiss bank and caused Coutts, the Queen’s bank, to be scrutinised.
The Global Risk Insight website reported that “two Chinese firms had launched multi-billion-dollar bailouts of 1MDB assets and had leapfrogged over Japan, Singapore and America to become Malaysia’s largest investor.”
Previously, many Malaysians wondered why the west was reluctant to act against Najib, despite the many paper trails criss-crossing the globe, like a ticker tape parade.
Western leaders need trade to survive, politically. Trade will prop-up their economies. When Malaysian companies invest in rundown parts of London, these areas are regenerated without the use of the taxpayers’ money.
Millionaires from the PRC, Malaysia, Singapore and Russia purchase these expensive London properties and bump up house prices. They force locals out of the area. Politicians don’t really care about affordable and social housing. The same thing occurs in parts of KL, Malacca, Penang, Johor Baru and Ipoh.
‘Perfect facade for the politician or crony’
Properties provide the perfect facade for the Umno-Baruputra politician or crony. To avoid accusations of money-laundering, he buys multi-million ringgit apartments in London instead of stashing his millions in a bank. For added effect, he enrols a son or daughter in a local school, and says that the property is a home for the child.
Western arms manufacturers love Malaysian and third-world country despots. Leaders with blank cheques purchase missiles, weapons, tanks, second-hand planes, and second-hand submarines, as long as a middleman is involved. The middleman, usually an Umno Baru crony, baby-sits the hundreds of millions of ringgits in commission, all charged to the taxpayer, of course.
Back to Parameswara and Najib. On his diplomatic mission to seek protection, in 1411, Parameswara impressed Emperor Yongle with gifts of ivory, gold, incense, black bears and jungle exotica. In exchange for the gifts and protection, the emperor presented him with jade and other treasures and most important of all, the emperor’s royal seal. So what deals did Najib do with the PRC in modern Malaysia?
Is Najib afraid that the PRC will stop investing in Malaysia, in particular bailing out 1MDB?
The PRC refuses to negotiate with Asean in the case of the highly disputed Spratly islands. In July 2016, an arbitration tribunal, under the auspices of the UN Convention on the Laws of the Sea, backed the Philippines’ claim. Malaysia said nothing, possibly fearing Beijing’s wrath.
A few years ago, the PRC navy landed on the James Shoal islands, about 60km off the Bintulu coast. The Malaysian chief of the armed forces said, “Don’t worry lah.” The incursion was reported by the South China Morning Post but apparently our leaders were not perturbed. Remember the same lackadaisical attitude when Sulu warriors invaded Lahad Datu in 2013?
After the MH370 crash, which claimed the lives of many people from the PRC, the number of tourists to Malaysia from the PRC fell dramatically. Two years later, Malaysia waived the visa requirements for PRC tourists to entice them back. Tourist dollars from the increasing PRC middle-class help prop-up our economy.
The horrors of bauxite are visible in Pahang. It is difficult to stop illegal mining when key players at the very top have allegedly been bought out, to the tune of RM200 million. Most of the bauxite is exported to China. We ignore the environmental damage caused by bauxite, because of our greed.
Barjoyai Bardai, a lecturer at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, claims that the development of Bandar Malaysia by PRC firms should not cause concern. Really?
Acres of land, high-end waterfront properties, landed property, ports, islands, railway lines and the land beneath these tracks, are all under the control of PRC companies.
PRC’s bid to build the high-speed rail project between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore has been successful. The original price of the East Coast rail project rose from RM30 billion to RM55 billion.
One still remembers the 1.6km of monorail in Malacca, which kept breaking down and the millions of ringgits that were pumped into it, to try to make it work. This doesn’t really fill one with confidence.
Najib’s cosying-up to the PRC is not just about taking advantage of China to boost our economy. It is also payback time. He is fuming because the US Justice Department (DOJ) is attempting to recover our assets from the 1MDB débâcle, and bring Jho Low and Riza Aziz, to justice.
Does Najib think that the PRC will not want political and economic leverage in the region and in Malaysia? What have the red-shirts and the Ketuanan Melayus to say?

Allah gift to Malaysian Chinese

Non-Malays and Non-Muslim especially the Chinese have suffered under the Melayu abusive mentality for too long.  We are called Cina Babi or Pendatang and never was accepted as Malaysian.  We the Chinese have tolerated the abuse and accepted that the Malay disease cannot be cured but then Allah says otherwise.

Today one need not go to war or shed blood to conquer or take over a nation.

Many third world suffers under greedy leaders as such it comes a time when even the greedy heads cannot steal anymore but instead have to sell the nation off to gain more wealth to spend or to cover their sinful act.

With today’s technology nothing is secret.  Every piece of evidence is open to all by simply clicking onto a mouse. Greedy leaders cannot hide their misdeeds. So we should be grateful to modern technology.

In Malaysia since 1984, Malaysians who are Non-Malay or Non-Muslim have their dignity bashed by the Malays at every given opportunity.  Even though a Chinese party was within the ruling Government, MCA did nothing for the Chinese.  Instead MCA elites enrich themselves and left ordinary Malaysian Chinese to fend for themselves.

Every election the Chinese would show their anger at the voting booths but through cheating and bribery the ruling Melayu Taiko win all the time.

Non-Malays and Non-Muslim almost gave up hope until the surprise win of DAP in Penang and PKR in Selangor.

With the win in Penang and Selangor one can see and feel the development but the ruling government for the nation were full of envy at their success.

In Penang, DAP though a mixed racial party suffers the most in the hands of jealous Malays since winning the state.  Every month Malays from other states would go to Penang to create havoc and attack the CM because he is Chinese.  Yet the Chinese in Penang did not lose their cool to attack or bash up any Malay there.  Had the Chinese retaliated, the Malays, Sultans, Mat Rempit, Police and Army Force would have killed all the Chinese there.

In Selangor the attack is less because the MB is a Melayu. But UMNO Selangor wants to poison the water there so that they can take over Selangor.  Sultan of Selangor knows Omar and Jamal are involved but is doing nothing.

One cannot forget the incident where a Malay stole a handphone in Low Yat and was caught in the act.  The Malay gangster beat up innocent Chinese who happens to be there at the wrong time and the shop where the Malay boy stole the phone was damaged to pieces. The Malay mafia are very crude and evil because they are supported financially by UMNO Selangor.  The Malay mafia are also protected by the Prime Minister and his wife Rosmah.  So even PDRM, Army and Royal Household cannot stop the havoc these Malay mafia do.
Since becoming Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib spent his time and energy stealing our money and enjoying life to the peak.  Every month he was never in the country.  He treated Malaysia like ATM machine.  The time he is in Malaysia is when he needs to transfer our money out of the country.  Once it is done, he and his family members jet off to go shopping or have a good time.  Until the stealing became so big that many European nations got caught in the web.

Tun Razak and his wife should have listen to their bomoh advice when Najib was born. The bomoh had said that the boy Najib would destroyed his own father’s legacy, ruin his own country, kill his own son and murder his own race Dignity.  In China, Japan or Korea such a son would have been killed by his own father.  By letting Najib lived, Malaysians today are suffering through his greed.

As a person who has gone through 6 Prime Ministers and known some of them personally.  Najib is just a mouse among all.  To catch a mouse is not difficult even though Paid Bloggers, Paid Mafia, Paid Royalty, Paid IGP, Paid Army, Paid Speaker etc are obstacles placed as shooting shields.

Americans may not be able to, Swiss may not be able to, Singapore may not be able to.  While so many are cannot but THEN THE CHINESE FROM CHINA CAN DO WHAT OTHERS CANNOT DO.

Malaysia has a very bad business culture and blind knowledge on written agreements in history today.  Malaysia have lost many good dealings through their lack of understanding words printed in English and to bribery. So what are MOUs when it becomes useless after a period?

Malaysian Malays especially those in UMNO and Mafia boys do not have long to live.  When you open your doors to invite COMMUNIST CHINA into your home do not expect gold to pour in.

Rosmah has taken two sons to China to look for a Chinese Bride so that one of them need not go to jail.  So one son gets hitch but what about the other one.

THE BOMOH HAS BEEN RIGHT SO FAR, SO WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FAVOURITE SON……………….
